ROB McCAFFREY
Athlete Mental Strength Coach
Rob McCaffrey is a renowned mental strength coach with a passion for empowering athletes through the crucial aspect of mental health. With extensive coaching experience at various levels, including NCAA Div. I and club and academy soccer in Saskatchewan, Rob has honed his expertise in sport psychology and mental health advisory.

As a Ph.D candidate at the University of Regina, Rob has focused his research on sport psychology, delving into the intricacies of how mental strength plays a pivotal role in an athlete's success. He also served as a mental health advisor for the UofR campus community from 2013-2023, showcasing his commitment to the holistic well-being of athletes.

Rob's coaching credentials are impressive, with a Canadian Soccer Association National B licence, Advanced National Course, Director of Soccer Certificate, Level 3 national goalkeeping coach certificate, and ongoing completion of the Canadian Soccer Association youth goalkeeping course. He is also a certified learning facilitator for the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP), coach evaluator, and master coach developer in training, reflecting his dedication to continuous learning and professional development in coaching.

As a former U SPORTS student-athlete at the University of Saskatchewan, Rob's firsthand experience as a goalkeeper with the Huskies gives him unique insight into the challenges athletes face and the importance of mental strength in overcoming them. Despite hanging up his cleats due to injury, Rob's unwavering passion for the sport and his commitment to academic pursuits and coaching has earned him recognition, including being awarded the prestigious 2021 Saskatchewan Soccer Association Coach of the Year.

TYLER MEADOWS
Athlete Mindfulness Coach
Tyler Meadows is a Mindfulness Coach for The Athlete Empowerment Project, with a passion for sports and mindfulness. His interest in mindfulness and sport performance was sparked while watching the Los Angeles Lakers win three championships in a row under the leadership of Coach Phil Jackson “The Zen Master”.

Tyler completed his Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a minor in Kinesiology at the University of Regina, followed by a Master’s in Sport Psychology at Cardiff Metropolitan University, where he gained valuable international experience. He returned to Regina to pursue a Doctoral program in Sport Psychology with a specialization in mindfulness, where he honed his skills to help athletes perform at their best.

Tyler's 12 years of practicing and studying yoga and mindfulness has allowed him to develop a personalized approach with everyone he works with. Tyler believes that mental health and mental strength are crucial for athletes to succeed. With his expertise in mindfulness and sport psychology, he helps athletes develop a strong mental game, which is just as important as physical training. Tyler's work with athletes and mindfulness emphasizes the importance of being present and aware of one's thoughts and feelings while participating in sports, allowing athletes to perform at their highest potential.

STEVE KOSZMAN
Athlete Development Leader
Based out of Saskatoon. Steve has spent the last 25 years of his life helping others increase their personal power. He first started to see his purpose in life when working as a camp counselor. This lead to Steve working in the public school system and numerous special care home facilities over the years. Regardless of where he was, the one thing that remained the same was his opportunity to help others focus on their abilities, what they can do, and give them the tools to succeed physically, mentally and emotionally.

In 2016, Steve expanded his reach to the world by opening his own leadership coaching and training business. Steve's personal and professional development programs are designed to help you learn more about yourself. His programs are designed for you to you learn from the past, plan for the future and live in the present. Inside of everyone there is a big a powerful spirit that deserves to be shared and Steve will help you do that.

BLAINE DUFFIELD
Team-Building Leader
Currently instructing a Police program for high school students, and also working as a Correctional Officer, Blaine knows the vital importance of team building when it comes to athletic teams successfully working as one towards a common goal.
Blaine has been involved in sport his whole life, either as a coach, player or official and it was Blaine’s love for sport that propelled him into developing team-building sessions for athletes and athletic teams.
Blaine has a passion for working with athletes of all ages. Blaine’s team-building exercises focus on effort, accountability, self-discipline, communication and of course - excitement! The team-building sessions focus on many types of team-building activities that are physical in nature. They are also designed to challenge athletes mentally, by putting them under some form of stress, fatigue or both. Athletes will also have an opportunity to be in leadership positions throughout the session.
Sports, in conjunction with team-building, are great for preparing athletes for life after sport in regards to mental toughness, leadership, adversity, communication, effort, discipline and learning to work and support others.
